Alim completed a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Ottawa followed by a Juris Doctor at Bond University in Australia. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2014. While in Australia, Alim practiced corporate/capital markets and immigration law. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2017. Since returning to Ottawa, Alim has gathered experience in appellate practice, and civil and commercial litigation. Alim has appeared on behalf of clients at the Small Claims Court and Superior Court, including a 5-week jury trial in which liability was disputed. His practice areas include personal injury, product liability, and civil and commercial disputes. Alim is a member of various organizations including the County of Carleton Law Association, Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, and the Advocacy Club.
